…You’re a new person and you have decided you will try Alcoholics Anonymous. You take a bus to a meeting that the Cleveland District Office has given you and there is no one there.
Imagine you are a staff member or volunteer and you have a 12 step call to give someone. You call a group secretary but the number has been disconnected or you reach a person who no longer goes to meetings.
This is what the Cleveland District Office faces every day. Secretaries change, meetings move, their times change, and the outdated information is published.
Today, after significant time and effort, most groups are up-to-date. If you think your group may not be current, please fill out the Secretary Update Form contained in the Fund Drive Packet, by phone at (216) 241-7387, online at www.aacle.org > For Members > New / Change Meeting, or stop in and see us. We’d love to see you.
Unfortunately, if we don’t have current information or have a group contact person, we will have no choice but to remove that group from the schedule book and online.
Thank you for continuing to help carry the message to the still sick and suffering alcoholic.
