Before there were meeting schedules, the AA pioneers helped newcomers through the Steps as quickly as possible so they could begin to help others. We follow the path of the early days of AA and actually work all of The Twelve Steps over the course of four weeks. Readings are directly from the Big Book, with an audio assist.

We will be listening to a powerful audio presentation by Paul F who facilitates a series of Back to Basics meetings. Back to Basics sessions have been held continuously on the west side of Cleveland, every quarter, since January 2008.

Suggested reading in advance:

• Session 1 – Step 1: The Doctor’s Opinion, plus pages 1 -44
• Session 2 – Steps 2, 3 & 4: Pages 44-71
• Session 3 – Steps 5 thru 9: Pages 72-84
• Session 4 – Steps 10, 11 & 12: Pages 84-103

Note: Additional time will be available following the 2nd session, held on the 13th, to discuss writing out the 4th Step and arranging for the 5th Step.
