What is an Advisory Committee?

The Advisory Committee serves to make recommendations and/or provide key information to the Operating Committee (i.e. board of directors). It can also provide staff with a fresh perspective on programmatic issues and can be a tremendous complement to the effectiveness of the Operating Committee as it works to carry out its initiatives.

For example: the Advisory Committee can help create policies which provide direction and support for the office staff.

Please elect an Advisory Committee Representative from your Group to attend. A representative must have at least three years of continuous sobriety.
