WAIA Presents the 45th Annual Old Timers Meeting to Benefit the Hospitals and Institutions Committee (H&I)

The Old Timers meeting was started 45 years ago to celebrate those “Oldtimers”, who have over 20 years sobriety to get up on stage and share their experience, strength and hope for a few minutes. As time has gone on, the number of years of sobriety to get up on stage has risen. Come fellowship and hear what these AA members have done to stay sober over the years. Bring a Newcomer, as we will do a sobriety countdown. Throughout the evening there will be raffles, fellowship and plenty of laughs and wisdom.

The event is a fundraiser for the H & I Committee which provides literature for the institutions we serve. The basket will be passed but you can also contribute with Venmo (@WAIADC) or go to aa-dc.org/give to give with debit or credit card. Please note “oldtimers” in the notes or comment section.
