Recovery: Grace, Love, & Purpose.
The Ashtabula Area Women’s Workshop was established in 2009 to provide an opportunity for recovering women to grow in their understanding of Alcoholics Anonymous’ philosophy and way of life. Based on the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions, women in recovery are provided a forum to share their experience, strength, and hope; to further spiritual growth, and enhance the fellowship of women living in and seeking sobriety.
Our primary purpose is to stay sober and to help other women alcoholics achieve sobriety. Each year, a group of panelists present a new theme during morning sessions followed by breakout discussion groups. Afternoon sessions are led by a pre-selected topic speaker. Throughout the day, there are fun activities, and opportunities to explore personal spirituality and connect with others in our unique fellowship.
