Alcoholics Anonymous Cleveland District Office is an Ohio non-profit corporation established in 1945 to provide a physical location for Alcoholics Anonymous servicing Cuyahoga, Geauga, and Lake counties. This is where the “Twelfth Step” phones are answered, and members can get AA literature and information. Job Description

As Member Coordinator, you will make contact, location, time and other changes to 900+ local AA group records in an Administrative Panel in order to maintain accurate data for online meeting searches and print meeting schedules. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Member Coordinator. This position requires accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth operation of a variety of other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities
  1. Group Updates
  • Proactively maintain group data accuracy via phone, email and in-office
  • Accurately enter data into our system from various sources
  • Verify and correct data discrepancies
  • Generate reports and summaries as required
  1. Volunteer Coordinator
  • Coordinate weekday and weekend phone volunteers
  • Train volunteers how to use and answer phones and answer common questions
  • Email onboarding instructions for weekend phones and field questions
  1. Cashier
  • Assist by filling in Literature Department as cashier when needed
  • Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Process cash and credit card sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  1. Other Responsibilities
  • Grow Twelfth Step contact list via member contact
  • Maintain community relations by participating in select health fairs and other events
Education, Experience and Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years sobriety
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk, cashier, or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Hours
  • This is a full-time position, Monday thru Friday, from 9am to 5pm
Compensation
  • $40,000-$43,000/year
